Renée Gándola (Susy Hendrix) Renée is delighted to return to the Coronado Playhouse where she has appeared as Portia in The Merchant of Venice, Mme. Parole in My Three Angels, Flo Owens in Picnic, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Mollie in The Mousetrap, and Lady MacDuff and the third Witch in Macbeth. Locally, while in college, and through The American Repertory Theatre in Europe, Renée has performed in The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Heiress, Frankie and Johnny, Seascape, Charlotte’s Web, The Laramie Project and several others. Although acting in theatre is her first love, Renée has also performed in a few indie films with her daughter Maelyn. Renée has a Performance Degree from BYU and a Television Performance Certificate from SD City College.
