David Beck-Brown (Policeman) “There are no small roles in the theatre, only small actors.” One role leads to another. David worked in the original San Diego Dance Theatre and later founded Intermedia Performance. As the art director and modern dancer for Harry Partch’s West Coast Tour of Bewitched, David performed at UCLA Royce Hall, Stanford Theatre, UCSD Mandeville Theatre and at SDSU, among other venues. He was in the original cast of Mitigating Factors performed by the Ruskin Group Theater in Santa Monica and has financial core status with the SAG. Beck-Brown studied acting at Mesa and Palomar colleges and has a Masters in Art from SDSU. He is a graduate from the Sandy Meisner-based Ruskin School of Acting in Santa Monica, where Anthony Hopkins taught. Few students graduate from the emotionally demanding curriculum taught at that school. David’s goal is to play psychologically twisted characters. |
