Joshua Kellison (Lester Cole)

Joshua has just returned to his hometown, San Diego, and is happy to be back. After working and studying in Los Angeles for three years, his heart still remained here. He is currently romping the boards and having a hoot with the National Comedy Theater of San Diego. Although he has worked at several theaters around town, including The Fritz, Sledgehammer, and Diversionary Theater, in numerous pieces, this is his debut at the Coronado Playhouse. He also co-created the theatre companies Loose Lips, Inc. and Groove Company Players. He wants to give a special thanks to his parents, Jack and Lillian, for their unconditional love and support.

Deborah Schwartz (Mrs. Roper)

Deborah has been passionate about theater for fifty years. Most recently--perhaps fifteen years ago--she appeared in four shows at the Coronado Playhouse and as a member of a downtown San Diego improv troupe. In the interim, Ms. Schwartz has dedicated her considerable energy to raising children and working for the Coronado Unified School District as a school counselor. As the Schwartz’s younger child has gone off to college, she is truly delighted to return to the stage in her community theater.

Amy Mayer (Lisa Koletzky)

Amy is happy to be back again at the Coronado Playhouse! She loves working with great people. After spending ten years in Los Angeles doing film and TV, she is thrilled to find the San Diego theater scene so fulfilling. She also feels very blessed to be able to work with a director she is positive will be someone to watch. As always, she couldn’t be free to do theater without the amazing support and understanding of her husband.

Ken Oberlander (Professor Karl Hendryk)

Ken's most recent work was at the North Coast Reperatory Theatre in a staged reading of Arthur Miller's, "All My Sons" in December. Recent productions include, the pilot in the AASD Theatre Festival's production of, "John Timothy's Sorrow" last April and "Tabb" in the Lamplighter Theatre's production of "Rebecca". Ken dedicates this production to his mother, Rachel, who "taught me that there's always room to grow".

Don Worley (Dr. Stoner)

Don is delighted to make his first appearance at Coronado Playhouse, where his wife, Tricia, has been an award-winning actor and is his inspiration and support. Don recently played Ebenezer Scrooge at the OnStage/Clairemont Community Players production of Bah Humbug!, which followed roles in Someone Waiting at Lamplighters Theatre, Lost Horizon, Inherit the Wind, Illusion Factory, and Man of La Mancha at Westminster Theater, and in Hooray for Hollywood! At St. Agnes Little Theater. When not acting, or singing with The New Covenant Choir or the Disciples of Jazz, or dancing Flamenco, Don is a trial lawyer.

Carolyn Wheat Koenig (Anya Hendryk)

Two years ago, Carolyn made her theatrical debut as Miss Casewell in the Playhouse's production of The Mousetrap. She returned to play Mollie Ralston in the revival of that play, as well as Ophelia in Hamlet. Since then, Carolyn has appeared at several other local theaters in productions which include: Stepping Out (Andy), The Rocky Horror Show (Phantom), and The Taming of the Shrew (Bianca). She has also earned credits in two independent films. Carolyn is delighted to return to the Coronado Playhouse to undertake this challenging role. She wishes to thank her husband, Scott, for his continuing love and support.

Rebekah Scoffin (Helen Rollander)

Rebekah is excited to be making her San Diego debut on the Coronado Playhouse stage. Rebekah moved here from New York City where she graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and performed in Off-Off Broadway theatre as well as in Film and Television for over 4 years. She is quite happy with her new surroundings and change of pace! She’d like to take a minute to thank GG, her roomies and family for encouraging her day in and day out, always supporting her acting passion whichever city she lives. She’d also like to give thanks to the Lord "For whatever you achieve, give God the honor and glory"– Jude 25. Finally, she’d like to dedicate her performances in loving memory to her Grandpa.

George Blum (Sir William Rollander)

George feels honored to work with Kathryn Lee Moss in her San Diego directorial debut, and with such a talented cast, stage manager, and crew. George recently appeared: in the Clairemont Community Players and OnStage productions of Bah, Humbug! (Bob Cratchit); at the Coronado Playhouse in Taming of the Shrew (Tranio), Hamlet (Horatio), and Solid Gold Cadillac; at the La Jolla Stage Company in Taming of the Shrew (Lucentio); and with the Murder Mystery Players in Contract: Death and An Act of Murder. George would like to thank Becky for her never-ending support.

Travis Walck (Detective Inspector Ogden)

In his debut at Coronado Playhouse, Travis is very excited to bring his gift to the stage again. A recent transplant to San Diego, Travis has appeared in numerous stage productions in his hometown of Albuquerque. Travis was most recently seen in the Fault Line Theater production of "The 22nd." He received a BA in Theater from the University of New Mexico and has come to California to own the bright lights. He is very thankful to work with such a talented cast and prays that every attendant will experience the show with as much fervor as he.

Michael Turk Woodbury (Police Sergeant Pearce)

Michael made his community theater comeback in September of 2001 with his role in The Sign Of Four (a Sherlock Holmes mystery) presented at Onstage Playhouse, where he had made his community theater debut 13 years prior in All The Way Home. Michael recently worked with Kathryn, George, and Don as fellow actors in a secret underground production which will remain nameless, and is very excited to be working with those same ruffians in a different capacity and position. Michael is single-handedly taking on the roles of assistant assistant director, director’s assistant, tech booth operator, actor and general errand monkey as well as helping with the set construction. Though Michael is currently involved in acting, his interests are wide and varied and include drawing, writing, Poi/fire twirling, glass blowing, massage, computers and the ladies. When asked what the perfect gift would be to give to his director his answer was simple "mittens . . . always mittens." He also had this to add, "I would like to thank my grandma for all of her support and all of the time and hard work she donates to the shows I’m in as well as every other production she works on."
