Production Crew
Bob Christiansen (Director). This is Bob's second directorial stint at Coronado Playhouse, after directing Biloxi Blues last year. Other shows he has directed in San Diego County are Barefoot in the Park at OnStage Playhouse and Odd Couple (Female Version) at Clairemont Community Players. Bob is also an actor, having appeared here in Catch Me If You Can, Solid Gold Cadillac, and most recently as the henpecked Baron Hardupp in Cinderella. In addition, he has appeared at OnStage Playhouse, Christian Community Theatre, Lamplighters, and Clairemont Community Players. He has also produced many plays at OnStage Playhouse, where he is on the Board of Directors.

Director's Notes - As someone who has studied humor all his life, I appreciate it when I find a really funny play. As someone who has attempted to write a play, I appreciate a well-constructed script. As an actor and director, I appreciate it when a playwright incorporates larger than life characters who interact in a natural, yet entertaining manner. My hats are off to Ken Ludwig, who has managed to accomplish all these things in Lend Me a Tenor. No wonder this play won a Tony when it was on Broadway in 1989. As we laugh at the non-stop zaniness of this delicious farce, we are really laughing at ourselves and the foolish things we often do in life. Yes, we humans do some really silly things sometimes, but all in all we are a loveable lot, just like the characters in Lend Me a Tenor. We had so much fun putting this play together--now it’s your turn. Have a good laugh. You deserve it!
Daniel Zisko (Asst. Director/Lighting Designer). While this is Daniel’s first show at Coronado Playhouse, he is no stranger to theatre. The acting torch has since been passed to daughter, Hannah, while Suzanne have turned to dressing sets here at the Coronado Playhouse for over a dozen shows.
