Sunny Smith (Assistant Director) Sunny is very pleased to be making her debut at Coronado Playhouse as Assistant Director. A Wisconsin native, she has acted in many shows there and in San Diego, including Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife), Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Blithe Spirit (Edith), The Curious Savage (Fairy Mae), Enigma Variations (Bebe), Opera of the Oasis, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Suds: The Rockin’ 60’s Musical. Her film credits include Gun Point 2 and the lead role in Third Times The Charm, as well as Associate Producer.

She would like to thank Matt for his confidence in giving her the opportunity expand her creativity beyond just acting and Coronado Playhouse for providing a wonderful team to work with and a beautiful space for the show.
