Renée Gàndola Renée Gándola (Flo Owens) Renee is delighted to return to the Coronado Playhouse where she has appeared as Olivia in Twelfth Night, Mollie in The Mousetrap, and Lady MacDuff and the third Witch in Macbeth. She loved "playing" with the other members of the MacDuff family, her husband Kent and son Rafe. Locally, while in college, and through The American Repertory Theater in Europe, Renée has performed in The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Heiress, Frankie and Johnny, Seascape, Charlotte's Web and several others. Although acting is her first love, Renée has also enjoyed directing -from the historical musical Company B written by local playwright Toni Thomas, to first-time performers at several San Diego schools. Renée has a Performance Degree from BYU and a Television Performance Certificate from SD City College. She thanks Mary who has boundless energy and wisdom, and Keith who generously shares his directing/acting gifts, and his understanding of Inge with a privileged cast. Renée is especially pleased to be "playing" with her daughter Maelyn. She loves combining her two great loves, family and acting. |
