Jillian Pizzuto (Madge Owens) Jillian is thrilled to be working once again with the Coronado Playhouse. Currently, you may have seen Jillian as the wacky Maid of Honor, Tina Tubbetini, in Joey and Maria's Comedy Italian Wedding. She has also begun working with the National Comedy Theatre Improv Troupe. Jillian graduated from Iona College in NY with a BA in Speech and minor in Theatre Arts. During her time in NJ/NY, Jillian performed in over 20 plays and musicals in various community theatres. Some of her favorite parts and shows include: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Margaet), Agnes of God (Dr. Livingston), Vieux Carre (Jane), and Grease (Frenchy). As a choreographer, Jillian has studied dance for the past 15 years, covering ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and middle-eastern. She has been an instructor of each of these styles of dance and choreographed such musical productions as West Side Story, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Into the Woods, and A Little Night Music. Jillian is currently a dance and drama teacher in San Diego and plans to enter an MA program for Acting/Theatre. Her goal is to combine her love of Theatre and Education to enlighten and encourage future artists.
