Eva Kvaas (Helen Potts) Eva is pleased to be returning to the Coronado Playhouse. You may have seen Eva in last year's production of Mousetrap for which she garnered an Aubrey nomination for her portrayal of the disagreeable Mrs. Boyle. Prior to that she played the dramatic Louise in the Lamplighters Theatre production of Post Mortem. Less recently Eva played Ethel in On Golden Pond at Theatre by the Beach in Ocean Beach. In Indiana she performed at Shawnee Summer Theatre, Black Curtain Dinner Theatre, New Stage Repertory Company and Paper Moon Children’s Theatre. Eva has a B.A. in Theatre and Drama from Indiana University. There she played significant roles in Blood Wedding, Empire Builders, Chamber Music, The Maids, Uncommon Women and Others and The Confidential Clerk. Awards include Bloomington South’s Best Actress Award for her performance of Medea in Medea and an Arts and Letters award for acting. Other interests include her family, singing, song writing and various types of design work. Eva has also written a children’s play, “A Tale of Tail Feathers”.
