Keith A. Anderson (Director) has been employed in professional theatre as an actor, director, & producer for over thirty-five years. This is his 11th production at the Playhouse; others include:, The Mousetrap (twice), The Hollow, 1997 & 1998- A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest, The Taming of the Shrew, Hamlet, I Hate Hamlet, & Social Security (He received the Playhouse Best Direction award for the latter four & an Aubrey nomination for the latter three). He was Artistic Director of the Southwest Ensemble Theater in Phoenix, a professional, resident theatre for three & a half years. For seven & a half years, he was Drama Director for the City of Phoenix. While working in Los Angeles, he was Associate Director & board member of Hollywood Actor's Theatre & was involved with TV & film. He received his M.A. in theatre from Cal State LA. Of his many productions, the most notable was his direction of the World Premiere in 1973 of William Inge's The Last Pad which starred then unknown actor Nick Nolte & won nominations from the LA Drama Critics' Circle. While serving as Drama Director for the City of Phoenix, Anderson started the Phoenix Free Shakespeare Festival, supervised over 80 citywide drama classes, & sponsored a New Playwright's Festival. His book, An Essay on the Meaning of Hamlet: A Director's Approach was published in 1979. An updated version with his adapted acting script is due to be published sometime soon.

Mary Anderson (Producer/Assistant Director) earned her BA in speech, English & drama at the University of Minnesota, her MA at SDSU in Educational Curriculum & has taught for 29 years. Both an actress & technician, Mary has also worked in all aspects of theatre, co-producing numerous professional productions with the actor/director husband, Keith. She has worked at Santa Barbara Repertory Company as a costume designer & has taught theatre classes at Grossmont & Santa Barbara City College. She currently works full-time as the library media teacher at Bonita Vista High & works part-time as a library substitute at the Central division of San Diego Public Library. A Playhouse Board Member, this is her 11th production at the Playhouse; she won Best Costume Design for 1998 A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet, & Taming of the Shrew at the Playhouse & received Aubrey nominations for costume design for The Tempest & Hamlet.

John Bridges (lights/sound) This is Johns 15th production at Coronado Playhouse. He has appeared in Solid Gold Cadillac, Odd Couple, Catch Me If You Can, and Alone Together and has worked as stage and lighting technician for many shows. John is a financial and budget manager for a collection of community health centers.
Marcus & Teena Correia (Assistant Stage Managers) are Imperial Beach residents who started working backstage at the Coronado Playhouse in 1997 for The Tempest. They shared stage-managing duties for The Uninvited, Rumors, Murder at the Vicarage. Marcus, who retired from the U.S. Naval Air Force in 1992, made his acting debut last February in Murder at the Vicarage & since then has performed in M*A*S*H, The Taming of the Shrew, & The Gospel at Colonus. Teena contributes valuable technical help backstage.
Cornell Ellison (Props) does tech work, performs, and directs at many theatres, primarily Coronado Playhouse and OnStage. She directed an Evening With Gershwin at Coronado Playhouse in 2000 and Bah Humbug at OnStage in 2001.
Annette Hakim (Props) is a Coronado resident who has worked backstage and on props at Coronado Playhouse on Rumors and Murder at the Vicarage.
Carolyn Wheat Koenig (Cat Wrangler) While Carolynis more accustomed to being on stage than back stage, she is delighted to be part of this charming production. Her other experiences as a production crew member include Stage Manager and Set Decorator for the the La Jolla Stage Company. Carolyn is grateful for the opportunity to work a preformer of Ophelia's (Mr Tanner) caliber and to add the role of Cat Wrangler to her resume. Her credits at Coronado Playhouse include Ophelia in Hamlet, Miss Casewell and Mollie in The Mousetrap and Anya Hendryk in Verdict
Scott Koenig (Lights/Sound) Scott fist entered thebooth two years ago when his wife Carolyn "volunteered" him to run lights and sound for the Coronado Playhouse production of The Mousetrap. He has since worked his technical magic in the revival of The Mousetrap, as well as in Hamlet, and most recently filled in as house manager for Verdict. By day, Scott works as a Project Analyst for AT&T and serves as Lieutenant in the U. S. Naval Reserves.
Suzanne Sebenaler (Set Dressing) Suzanne developed a love for theatre while in high school. Favorite roles were in The Importance of Being Earnest, Shotgun Wedding, & Catherine in Wuthering Heights. The acting torch has since been passed to daughter, Hannah, while Suzanne have turned to dressing sets here at the Coronado Playhouse for Angels Among Us, The Mousetrap, Murder at the Vicarage, Taming of the Shrew and others. Patty Fay (Props) Patty, a dancer for over twenty-six years (ballet, tap, jazz, & theatre dance) has choreographed, sung, & danced in Gian Carlo Menotti, has performed with the Metropolitan Educational Children dancing in Peter Pan, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Big River, and The Wiz. She is a supernumerary (extra) with the San Diego Opera, was in The Magic Flute, & has appeared as an extra with Stu Segall Productions in The Invisible Man & The Chronicle. She recently appeared at Community Actors Theatre in Moving Violation. This is her fourth show at Coronado Playhouse House.
David Waldman (Light/Sound Design) has designed sound and lights for Rumors, Angels Among Us, Murder at the Vicarage, Pumpboys & Dinettes, M*A*S*H, Taming of the Shrew, and California Suite at Coronado Playhouse and has performed his technical magic for many other area theatres over the years.
Thom Jason Waldman (Light/Sound Design) recently appeared in M*A*S*H as Father Mulcahy and in Angels Among Us as Carmichael. He has designed sets for Angels Among Us, Murder the Vicarage, Pumpboys & Dinettes, M*A*S*H, & Taming of the Shrew at Coronado Playhouse and has worked throughout the San Diego area at numerous other theatres. |
