Jenna Dawsey (Tansy McGinnis) Jenna is delighted to be in her third show with the Coronado Playhouse. She most recently played Vera Claythorne in Agatha Christie’s Ten Little Indians and is excited to finally be in a play where “she doesn’t have to kill anybody.” In addition to acting, Jenna’s favorite pastimes include: singing at the top of her lungs in the car; watching films with the volume turned off and ad-libbing conversations between the characters; pretending Conan O’Brien is her boyfriend; reading anything by David Sedaris, Roald Dahl, or Richard Lederer; playing with her doggie Kosmo; collecting action figures like Nigel from Spinal Tap; trying to incorporate words like “guffaw” and “lolligag” into her everyday vernacular; and capturing and editing random footage on her video camera. Additionally, Jenna has been trying for some time to master the subtleties of acting under the tutelage of screen legend David Hasselhoff. She’s not sure she has perfected his technique yet, but hopes you enjoy the show none-the-less.
