| Carolyn Sykes (Assistant Director/Producer) grew up in upstate New York’s Finger Lake’s district, studying Theater Arts, during which time she also visited England to study Theatre in London under the direction of Alan Schneider, as well as attend college in Oxford, England, studying English Literature, Modern Dramatists, and Music. In 1979 she joined the US Navy and moved to Coronado, California, where she worked as a Journalist. This gave her an opportunity to study Communications in the UCSD extension program. While at Naval Air Station North Island Public Affairs, she co-founded a theater group with other Navy personnel and performed in one-act plays and a musical at the base theater. Carolyn’s movie hi-light was acting in James Cameron’s Ghost of the Abyss. Her commercial hi-light was acting as a passenger for The Silver Seas Cruise Line, which sailed her to the Hawaiian Islands for 10 days. Carolyn is a Coronado Playhouse Board Member and Public Relations Director for a post editing facility, Planet Post, and the San Diego Production Centre in Kearny Mesa. She would like to wish this wonderfully angelic cast and crew a heavenly run. |
