| Barbara Hart (Costume Designer) Barbara started taking dance lessons at the age of seven; at eight she was awarded a dance scholarship. While growing up she performed as an amateur dancer all over San Diego County. At the same time she was learning to dance, her grandmother began teaching her how to sew. Her mother made all of her costumes and Barbara would help. She made all of her costumes at age 18 when she started dancing professionally. She now works at The Learning Adventure School, a private nonprofit elementary school. She teaches first grade and dance. Her students are currently working on a production of The King & I. |
