| Marissa Rukgaber (Marie Louise Ducotel) Marissa is a San Diego native, making her debut at the Coronado Playhouse after returning from her five-year stay in San Francisco. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computer Systems and worked as a Commercial Real Estate professional after college. She recently returned to her childhood dream of acting and has given up her demanding career to pursue her first love. She is currently taking film acting classes at the Actors Workshop Studios and has studied advanced acting under Linda Lowry in San Francisco for the past three years. She’s been performing since the early age of three and continued acting through high school and college. Her last theatre performance was the controversial play Extremities. Her screen experience includes national and local commercials, independent films and the San Diego based national show Veronica Mars. Marissa is trained in several dance styles including ballet, jazz, modern dance, tap, tango and belly dance. She says her ultimate role “Would be a musical where I could sing, dance and carry-on like they did in the Golden Era!” Marissa would like to thank her parents, Maureen and Fred, for their unconditional support of her decisions and aspirations. |
