Kenneth Anderson (Choir Director Martin Luther King, Jr. Choir) Kenneth Anderson has directed Gospel Choir at the University of California, San Diego for the past nineteen years. He has also been Choir Director MLKCCSD since 1996. Ken is a gifted singer, arranger, conductor, pianist, and song writer. He has performed in such roles as ‘Joe the Loiterer’ in the La Jolla Symphony production of the opera The Mother of Us All, and ‘Judas’ in Jesus Christ Superstar. During Easter season 2004, Ken led the MLKCCSD choir in a European Tour of five cities in four countries. Ken continues his socially conscious work through the MLKCCSD which awards grants to aspiring college-bound high school seniors from San Diego County who will major in the Visual and Performing Arts.
