Ed Franke (Producer) Ed has recently relocated to the San Diego area and is thrilled to be working with the Coronado Playhouse as his first theatre experience in sunny California. Ed holds a B.F.A. in Theater Arts and a B.A. in Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL. Immediately after graduating, he moved to Minneapolis, MN where he cofounded the Rhombus Theatre. Ed is primarily a director and has directed many productions to include the Midwest Premiere of Israel Horovitz’s Lebensraum. Other directing credits include Michael Weller’s Moonchildren, and Lyle Kessler’s Orphans. Ed has also used his study of the Alba Emoting Technique in productions of Bobby Gould in Hell (Bobby Gould), and SubUrbia (Tim).
