| Susan E. V. Boland (Emily Brent) A Coronado resident, returns to the Coronado Playhouse in the no nonsense role of Miss Brent. Prior appearances with Coronado Playhouse include: Time Remembered (Duchess), Supporting Cast (Sally Stern), Beatrix Potter Story (Beatrix) (Aubrey nomination) and Separate Tables (Miss Meacham). Susan also continues to fill principal roles as eccentric women throughout San Diego County at Lyric Opera San Diego: Princess Ida, Oliver, A Little Night Music, Red Mill. San Diego Civic Light Opera: Damn Yankees, Sweeney Todd. Christian Community Theater: Oklahoma, Me and My Girl. Premier Productions: Sound of Music and their June 2005 production of 100 years of Broadway! (A musical Review). In addition she was nominated for an Aubrey in 2004 as best Male Lead in a Musical in the Scripps Ranch production of Once Upon a Mattress as the mute King Sextimus. Susan holds a Masters in Music from Manhattan School of Music and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
