Michael Gardner (Professor Van Helsing) stepped into the role of Van Helsing 24 hours before opening night - a Herculean task.

Mr. Gardner has an extensive background in improvisional and standup comedy, and his speciality is the 250+ voices and vocal sound effects he uses to amuse.

Michael is no stanger to the Coronado Playhouse, having performed in The Supporting Cast, The Caine Mutiny, The Court Marshall, NoExit and Michael Gardner Live! (almost) On the Silverstrand, a one-man comedy show.

Some of Michael's other accomplishments include A Case of Libel at the Gaslamp Theatre, and What The Butler Saw and Seasons Greetings at North Coast Repertory Theatre.
