Lizette Kent Allen (Miss Caroline Amory) - was born in New York and began performing at the age of 6. Born into a theatrical family making its living almost entirely through entertainment (Puppet Shows, Family Band and Variety Show Directors), she got to experience most all aspects of theatre (actress, singer, dancer, musician, box office, refreshments, lighting, sound, puppeteer, choreographer…). When her family moved to California, she attended the School for the Creative and Performing Arts where she performed in several award winning groups. The first being New Renaissance a jazz and madrigal vocal group and also The Main Attraction a singing and dancing musical group which performed as goodwill ambassadors for the Acapulco Governor of Guerrero. She utilized her tap dancing skills in Crazy for You and 42nd Street with CCT and also No No Nanette with SCPA. Her dramatic highlights include The Mousetrap with Coronado Playhouse (for which she won a Best Supporting Actress award) directed by Keith and Mary Anderson, Lady Montague in Romeo and Juliet with Octad-One Productions and Suburbia an original theatre piece written by Tim Heitman. Her favorite comedic roles include the part of Eileen Dover in Are the Auditions Here with Applauz Theatre Group written by David Weiner, the number “Two Ladies” in Cabaret with North Coast Rep, and the Cockney Crone in A Christmas Carol with La Jolla Stage Company directed by Jessica Seaman. As a musician, a few favorites include Twelfth Night (in which she didn’t speak a single line, but rather played the entire show on recorder (a Renaissance flute-like instrument), Annie with CCT (in which she won the Golden Note award for her trombone playing), and West Side Story with The Bishop School for not only having an incredible musical score, but the most challenging trombone part experienced to date. Her favorite roles include Rosie (the dancing/ singing/ trombone playing Kit Kat Girl) in Cabaret with North Coast Rep, Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show with OutKast Theatre Group, Judy Garland (lead) in Heaven Rocks with Cabrillo Dinner Theatre, Lady Abercrombie in The Enchanted Cottage with Starlight Musical Theatre, the enchanted creamer in Beauty and the Beast at Moonlight Stage Company and the Ghost of Christmas Present in A Christmas Carol at La Jolla Stage Company, among others.
