Nick Reeves (House Manager) Nick is an actor and director with 20 years’ experience in community theatre. After acting extensively in college productions and majoring in Comparative Literature, Nick worked as an actor in community and dinner theatre in the San Gabriel Valley and Orange County. In 1984, Nick made the decision to put acting aside and focus on his family.

In 1996, Nick began working as assistant director for a small theatre troupe in South San Diego, Puzzle Piece Productions. In 1999, Nick assumed the multiple roles of Artistic Director, Producer, and Director of this theatre group with a production of Our Town. Productions such as The Human Comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and The Last Night of Ballyhoo began to get Puzzle Piece Productions recognized as a troupe that produced well-acted, quality work that continually out-stripped audience expectations.

For the past two years, Nick has served as President of Imagination Express…All-Aboard, a nonprofit theatre/mime company located in the South Bay. He has also served as Artistic Director/Set Designer for its Youth Theatre Program, provided in association with the Centers of Learning by the Sea—Extended Program.

Nick has co-written the book and lyrics for several original musicals. And he is excited to be part of the Coronado Playhouse family.
