Martin M. White (Duke Senior) By day, Martin pretends to be an electronics technician for REMEC Defense and Space. By night, he pretends to be an actor. He was nominated for an Aubrey Award for Friar Lawrence in last year’s Romeo and Juliet. In the course of a dozen Shakespearean productions he has played Shylock, Malvolio, Dogberry, and a host of kings, clowns, and cut-throats. His contemporary roles include Jules in My Three Angels, Mr. Paravicini in The Mousetrap, Drummond in Inherit the Wind and several leads for Christian Community Theater.
