Victoria Mature (Rosalind)Victoria Mature is proud to be a cast member in Coronado Playhouse’s As You Like It. Locally, she has won the Metropolitan Opera Auditions, the La Jolla Symphony’s Young Artist Competition, and was a member of the San Diego Opera Chorus. A native of San Diego, Victoria holds a B.A. in Music and Vocal Performance from UCSD. In Italy, she has had the opportunity to perform in conjunction with Arena di Verona and Teatro la Fenice and to sing in a myriad of classical and music theatre concerts held throughout Northern Italy. Victoria’s recent and upcoming performances include: concerts in Italy, San Francisco, and Boston, Queen Elizabeth in the San Diego Shakespeare Society’s staged reading of Richard III, and the singing of the famous “Ride of the Valkyries” as Waltraute in Wagner’s Die Walkure at the Bangkok Opera. Victoria would like to express her deep gratitude to Mary and Keith Anderson for their tireless work, her mother for her patient assistance in learning lines and to the wonderful and multi-talented cast and crew of As You Like It for making the whole process such a rewarding experience.
