Allison Evans (Hannah), Allison first expressed her need to act at the age of 11, when she organized forays to the local mall where she and two of her closest friends donned costumes and improvised sketches for passersby’s. After high school, she convinced herself that she needed to prepare for a “practical career” and earned her undergraduate degree in accounting from St Mary’s College in San Francisco and an MBA in Business from the University of San Diego.
But now, she has returned to her true passion, acting. She has been studying for the last year at Mesa & City Colleges, the Old Globe and at the Actor’s Workshop Studios. Allison appears here in her debut performance as Hannah. Allison says she feels so lucky to have such an incredible role and is blessed to work with this talented and wonderful group of people.
Dave Rivas (Billy Warren) Tonight, Dave a San Diego native, makes his Coronado Playhouse debut playing the part of Billy. Dave has extensive experience as an actor in the form of voice overs for radio, TV, commercials, multimedia and video games. Local clients include Mossy Nissan, Sign on San Diego.com, Jack in the Box, Microskills, Lightspan, Inc., The Commercial Clinic and others. Dave was awarded two Omni Media awards last year for his voice work in radio spots Now Spit and 2nd Chance for L.A. based tax firm, George Tannous & Affiliates. Dave has performed lead roles in Guys and Dolls, South Pacific, Babes in Toyland, Oklahoma, Barefoot in the Park, Indians, Death of a Salesman, Star Spangled Girl, Angel Street and Rude Dog. Dave’s other talents include Swing Dancing and Improvisational Comedy
David Paye (Marvin Michaels) David has appeared throughout the San Diego area. He played Tom in Table Manners at the La Jolla Stage Company and Bardolf at OCTAD ONE Lettuce and Lovage. At Onstage Productions he received an acting nomination for Herb in Tea and Sympathy. This marks David’s third appearance at the Coronado Playhouse. He studied theatre at both the University of Missouri and Idaho State University.
Cristyn Chandler (Bunny) This is Cristyn’s debut at the Coronado Playhouse. She studied acting at the Globe Theater in San Diego, CA. She was last seen as a Gambler in the TV show The Net, a Mint Girl in the film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and standing straight on her head in yoga class! In addition to acting she has been a hair model for such famous hair stylists as Redkin, Joico and Sebastian. She appreciates this wonderful opportunity to be part of the Coronado Playhouse Family.
Sharon Boskovich (Stage Manager and Hotel Housekeeper) Sharon is pleased to be joining this production of California Suite. She served as stage manager for Taming of the Shrew. The summer Shakespeare Festival at the Coronado Playhouse. Sharon’s previous experience in theatre includes acting classes at the Old Globe Theatre.
Yvonne Lindroth Silva (Millie Michaels) Yvonne always enjoys appearing at the Coronado Playhouse.  She most recently appeared here in last year’s production of Neil Simon’s Rumors in which she played Claire.  That was fun because she first appeared at CPH as Clair in There’s A Girl In My Soup in 1972!  Other productions you may have seen her in here were Twelve Angry Jurors, Alone Together, the 1997 production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania), Social Security, Last Of The Red Hot Lovers, The Norman Conquests Trilogy, Witness For The Prosecution, How The Other Half Loves and Absurd Person Singular.  Elsewhere she has appeared in Par For The Corpse at OnStage Playhouse, Murder At The Howard Johnson’s at La Jolla Stage Company, Rebecca at Lamplighter’s Theatre, The Fourth Wall at The Sweetooth Theatre, and The Philadelphia Story at Torrey Pines Theatre, where she will also be appearing in Man And Superman this November.  Earlier this year she has been appearing in the Murder Mystery Players’ dinner theatre productions at Dave & Busters in Mission Valley.  As always, she wants to thank her friends and family for their love and support.
Elizabeth Mander-Wilson (Diana Nichols) Elizabeth is thrilled to have been cast again at the Playhouse and get the chance to work with a such a talented director and great cast and crew. She was last seen here at the beginning of the year as Griselda in Agatha Christies Murder at the Vicarage. The rest of the year has seen Elizabeth playing Annette in Jamie Winns Therapy for the Actors Alliance, writing and performing for Rachel Krentzmans Letting Go at the Quentin Crisp Theatre in Hillcrest, studying the Bard, and generally theatre-going! All love to her angel in the sand who supports, loves and really has wings.......
John Martin (Sidney Nichols) John was last seen in Me And My Girl at Starlight and The Fritz’ criti-cally acclaimed Sweeny Todd. John has been actively involved in Theater for many years. A resident actor with The National Theater for Children from 1990 to 1994 he has toured the country and performed in some of the United State’s most beautiful Theaters. Favorite roles include, Gloria Swansong in Diversionary Theater’s highly praised production of Friends of Dorothy, with which he co-wrote with Ruff Yeager, Fred in Kiss Me Kate, Norman in The Dresser, Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Edward Rutledge in 1776, and The Ghost of Christmas Present, in A Christmas Carol, with the late John Carradine. Film’s include featured roles in Happy Hour, with Rich Little and Jamie Farr, and Return of The Killer Tomatoes, with George Clooney. John has performed in Disneyland with The Dick Tracey Show, and was an original cast member of City Streets at Sea World from 1986 to 1989. This is John’s second production with Coronado Playhouse, he was last seen in Sylvia as Tom, Phyllis and Leslie in 1998 for which he won the Coronet Award as Best Actor in a supporting role.
Nanci Harrington (Beth Hollender) Nanci is pleased to be returning to the Playhouse after performing earlier this year as Anne Protnerol in Murder at the Vicarage. She has spent her time since then persuing her passion at the Faultline Theatre as Laurie in Please Rewind. She then performed at the Quentin Crisp theatre in Letting Go. She would like to thank her friends for all their love and encouragement this year. I love you. You too, Mr. Parker.
Russ Allen (Mort Hollender)  Russ’ acting career in community theater now spans two millennia.  He has been involved in numerous productions at Coronado and around San Diego since 1997. Russ made his theatrical debut in the Coronado Playhouse’s downtown production of Kiss Them And Wish Them Goodbye at the Hahn Cosmopolitan Theatre. Here in Coronado he appeared as Lysander in the 1997 production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and as Elliott Butler in Alone Together and has helped in numerous other plays in various capacities. Elsewhere he played Tobias in A Delicate Balance at Patio Playhouse and Corder Morris in The Shop At Sly Corner at Lamplighter’s Theatre. He is also a musician and a singer/song writer. He’s delighted to be working with Larry and his team for the first time and with a great cast. Thanks to all the loyal patrons of the Coronado Playhouse, especially those who take the time to read these bios.
Lynne Goodman (Gert Franklin) This is Lynne’s debut at the Coronado Playhouse. She most recently appeared at On Stage Playhouse in Joined at the Head’s ensemble for which received and Aubrey. She has also performed at Scripps Ranch Theater as Jeanette in Last of the Red Hot Lovers for which she earned an Aubrey nomination. In addition, she played Rita in Bermuda Avenue Triangle at Scripps Ranch Theater. Where she was awarded Best Actress in a minor supporting role. Lynne also played Mary in The Bald Soprano, Fifi in Love Rides the Rails. Lynne is very pleased to be working at the Coronado Playhouse with Larry Steckling. She also appreciates the support of her wonderful family and friends.
Michael Clark (Stu Franklin) Michael is making his debut at the Coronado Playhouse. Regional shows include Out of the Frying Pan, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and Three Bags Full. San Diego credits include, The Merchant of Venice (Aubrey and Patio nominations), 1998 SCETA mainstage’s The Crucible and Neil Simon’s The Good Doctor. He studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
