DIRECTOR SUBMISSION IS NOW CLOSED FOR 2011

The Board of Directors is in the process of selecting the

season and will be announcing it soon.

Thank you to all that submitted.

PROCESS:

Please submit no more than two plays, following the guidelines below. Plays submitted should be in one of the following categories: comedy, mystery, musical, drama, and children’s theatre.

   1. Select plays for submission

Plays may be selected from any of the play publishers and authors’ representatives, such as Samuel French, Dramatists Play Service, Inc., Music Theatre International, and so forth.

Original works may be submitted and will be considered as either a play for our 2011 Season or for a work-shop through our Reader's Theatre program.

   2. Download the application form and complete all fields.

   3. Attach your directing resume where requested.

NOTE: Submissions must be complete to be considered.

   4. Email your submission as an attachment (pdf or word) to the Play Selection Committee at boxoffice@coronadoplayhouse.com by June 10, 2010.

   5. Either drop off two reading copies of the play(s) for which you are forwarding submissions at the Coronado Playhouse Box Office, or mail them to:

All (complete) submissions forwarded to the Selection Committee will be considered. Directors who make the final cut will be invited for an interview regarding their submissions, which will take place in late June 2010. The Board of Directors hopes to finalize the 2011 Season sometime in July.

Please note there is a small directing stipend.
